The programme of the manifestation is consisted of the economic part, within which the selling exhibition of grapes, wines, authentic souvenirs is organised, and cultural-artistic part with exhibitions and rich entertaining programme ( concerts of prominent musicians, performances, parades of folk-dance troupe, etc.).

Besides the regular sightseeing of cultural and historical monuments of Sremski Karlovci accompanied by the professional guides, Municipal Tourist Organization of Sremski Karlovci intends to offer the new tourist product, called “Animation of the Cultural Environment”, to the visitors in the following season. This is an interactive theatrical performance, in which the costumed animators welcome the tourist in the town centre and represent the historical events from the bygone centuries in the specific way. Thus, the tourist will participate in a 19-century ball; they will attend the remake of the first Serbian theatrical performance, the signing of Karlovci’s Peace Treaty or they will have an opportunity to meet the prominent Serbian romanticist poet and the most famous Karlovci’s pupil Branko Radicevic on Strazilovo…

TOURIST ORGANIZATION – THE WINNER OF THE AWARD
“GOLDEN AMPHORA – CHAMPION OF TOURISM 2009” |
Municipal Tourist Organization of Sremski Karlovci is the winner of the award “Golden Amphora – Champion of Tourism 2009”, in the selection organized by a tourist review “YU Travel”. An award ceremony took place on December 22nd last year in Hotel “President” – Sports and Tourist Centre Kovilovo.
For the last 14 successive years, the editorial staff of the tourist review “YU Travel” has been organizing the selection of the champions of tourism and presenting diplomas and statues of golden amphora to the best. This year, the review “YU Travel” celebrates an important jubilee – 15 years of existence on the market.
In 2009, the award “Golden Amphora” was presented to the ambassadors and embassies of Bulgaria, Tunisia and Austria for the cooperation with the tourist sector of our country; the editorial staff of “SAT MEDIA GROUP” for the contribution to informing in the field of tourism; SACEN; numerous tourist agencies, transportation and accommodation companies, as well as, to “Junakovic Spa” near Apatin.
Municipal Tourist Organization of Sremski Karlovci won the award in the category “The Most Successful Tourist Organization in Serbia”. This prestigious award was presented to the manager of Municipal Tourist Organization of Sremski Karlovci, Jasmina Beljan-Iskrin. |
